I often visit this place with my friends or by myself for meals. The food is delicious and I love the honey green milk tea I came today after my 6K run, so I apologize for looking so sweaty and scaring the employee. I’m writing a review in hopes they see it :))

Lowkey one of the best spicy braised beef noodle soups in the city. Flavor is on point, and beef is tender and flavorful. Their other food is tasty too and this is one of the few remaining places with reasonable pricing .

Yummy Taiwanese food. I love the crispy fried chicken and milk tea. The braised pork rice is also not bad. Love their free tea too! Located just across Joyce-Collingwood station.

Ordered takeout from here through door dash and on the whole really enjoyed the food. We had Braised Ground Pork in Dry Noodles, Braised Beef Noodles with Soup Fried Rice with Chicken Nuggets, Deep Fried Fish Cake and Wonton in Chilli Sauce. I really enjoyed all the mains which were tasty and arrived piping hot. The fish cake was a bit soggy and not my favorite though still tasty and the wonton was just in a chilli oil rather than an actual sauce like I'm used to. I think it may have been my husband's first time he had Taiwanese food but he was blown away by all the flavors. I'll definitely order again from here.

Food: The Rose Milk Tea and the Chicken Nuggets on Rice were very good, juicy, and fresh. They were delicious. Service: the staff was super friendly and nice. The person read my mind and gave me the bill right away. Atmosphere: the restaurant had a modern decor. Very spacey and comfortable. A minor one: I thought the table can be a tiny bit cleaner. Overall, it’s a relaxing place to enjoy a meal.

I loved the spicy braised beef noodles, they were absolutely delicious. I also ordered the earl grey too and they were also great. Not too sweet and not to bland. Nice blend of flavor of tea and sweetness. Thank you for making my day :3

The food was tasty, but the portion size isn't very large (we did take out). In total with tax, all 3 items cost $52.97. The best value was the Thai Style Fried Rice with Chicken, good flavour and the chicken pieces were tender. We found the Seafood Fried Udon to be a bit too saucy. The Cumin Fried Noodle with Lamb also had a nice flavour, but there weren't too many lamb pieces to be found amongst the cabbage and onions. The service was friendly. We went on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy around 6 pm, only 1 table was occupied. We were a bit concerned because of some of the reviews and Google rating, but had no issues with the taste of the food itself. I'd be interested in returning to try more of their extensive food menu, but there are other options in the area (along Kingsway) with bigger portions for the price. Service at the counter was friendly.

visited with a friend this evening and ordered 2 small drinks and 3 snacks, altogether the price was quite fair, around $30-something. my friend accidentally spilled her drink, but the service counter attendant was extremely kind, understanding, and helpful. after cleaning up in the bathroom, my friend's drink had been replaced for no cost, and two of our snack plates had arrived, ready for us to enjoy. small, cozy, and nostalgic, sunflower cafe has been the source of many warm memories for me, and i was pleasantly surprised to create a new one with a friend this evening. will definitely come again the next time i find myself in the neighborhood.
